A/ Registered or affiliated maritime and river surveyors:
– On a list of the Court of Appeal.
– On a national list.
– On a list of the Administrative Court of Appeal.
– In training with UCECAAP or a similar organization.
B/ Any self-employed maritime and/or river surveyor whose majority of their revenue is generated outside of insurance companies (CESAM).
C/ Any novice maritime surveyor who accepts the CEEMF’s code of ethics and wishes to be registered on a list of the Court of Appeal in their professional or residential district.
D/ Any member of a maritime and river surveying professional association affiliated with CEEMF.
How?
By contacting :
– A member of the board.
– A member of COMAD.
– Presented by an active member of the CEEMF (French Marine Expertise Center) or not.
– By consulting the CEEMF website.

Providing:
– An information sheet (download the document)
– A curriculum vitae accompanied by copies of supporting documents:
– A criminal record extract (No. 3) less than 3 months old (clean).
– A signed declaration of commitment to respect the CEEMF code of ethics
– A completed and signed document (download the document)
Application review :
By the COMAD (Commission for the Admission of Marine Experts), composed of active members under the supervision of the President.
Review of the submitted documents. On-site meeting with the applicant by one or two COMAD members.
Deliberation by the Board of Directors.
Issuance of a letter of admission as an active member of the CEEMF or notification of unsuccessful application.
Note: Neither COMAD nor CEEMF is required to justify its final decision.
Submission of a signed commitment form to be returned.
Issuance of a certificate of admission upon receipt of:
– payment of the €400.00 entrance fee.
– payment of the annual membership fee (1/12).
– return of the signed commitment form.
COMAD reserves the right to:
Request the submission of reports already prepared by the applicant. (These will be reviewed confidentially and returned to the applicant after review.)

– An internal list of expert advisors for each discipline ensures that the appropriate contact person is identified when a poorly understood problem arises.
